About this project

For this 8-storey flat block, David Trottin chose TuboLine sheet metal to shape the contours of each floor. The sheet's good mechanical strength, its ability to be bent and its special structure, which creates a checkerboard pattern of solids and voids, all contribute to creating the desired volumes. The railings fulfil their protective function without weighing the whole structure down. As designed and installed, the railings filter light for the comfort of occupants without obscuring the extraordinary view over the Seine and the surrounding landscape.
