About this project
For the renovation of the Lycée d'Hôtellerie et de Tourisme in Guyancourt, architect Anne Démians chose to create a large part of the metal ceilings using expanded metal panels, in particular the hook on panel type, mounted on a hidden framework.
The AFR-RB35 mesh used was chosen because of the good compromise between its size, allowing the mesh to be seen and the contrast between the full and the empty, and the possibility of dealing with lighting from above.
As another special feature, the hook trough was produced in LD1400 x 400 mm, with the large diagonal of the mesh running lengthways along the trough, so as to create consistency with the direction of travel in the corridors.
The hook trays were supplied in powder-coated steel in RAL 9006.
