About this project
L'Hamadryade is a complex of 3 bioclimatic buildings designed for small and medium-sized businesses. It is the first passive tertiary complex in Vaucluse. It meets the criteria for a passive building with a heating energy consumption of less than 15 kWh/m² per year. To meet these standards, the designer opted for High Wave panels made from AFR-TAU30 drawn metal mesh.
The High Wave panel offers numerous advantages:
Thanks to its configuration (H3OP63 corrugation), the High Wave panel is rigid and self-supporting across its width (1250 mm). It can be supported on only 2 sides.
The High Wave AFR-TAU3O mesh panel offers good solar protection while allowing natural light to pass through (50% void).
The High Wave panel is made of aluminum, and is therefore relatively light, weighing just 1.5 kg/m² in 1 mm thickness.
On this project, the High Wave panel was treated with a 15-micron gold anodization. This color adds warmth to the concrete building.
In terms of installation, the High Wave panel was simply screwed to the horizontal rails using self-drilling screws.
When it comes to solar protection, the High Wave panel is one of the most economical solutions, with a touch of originality!
